Things change quickly on Love Island – and since our last update Liam has left the show, there’s been a re-coupling and Jacques (3/1 to be Top Male), the ex-boyfriend of Gemma (9/2 to be Top Female), has entered the villa.
The 23-year-old rugby player, who was released from Betfred Super League club Castleford Tigers in order to appear on the show, wasted no time in getting to know his fellow Islanders, enjoying dates with fan-favourite Paige (13/8f to be Top Female) and Afia (25/1 to be Top Female), having an ‘interesting’ chat with Ekin-Su (12/1 to be Top Female) and even trying to charm his ex Gemma.
Our odds suggest he’s most likely to pair up with Paige, who alongside Afia was left single following Friday night’s re-coupling, when the time comes, but as we wrote just moments ago… things change quickly on Love Island.
Take Luca, for example, whose popularity has taken a nosedive in recent episodes.
After spending half of last night’s episode waxing lyrical about himself and the other half complaining about how he feels hard done by that Gemma’s ex has arrived to potentially swoop her away from him (despite him doing the exact same thing hardly 24 hours), it’s somewhat surprising that he remains 2/1 favourite to be the last man standing.
Can he win back favour with the unforgiving British public? Only time will tell.
Andrew (9/2 to be Top Male) and Tasha (2/1 to be Top Female) remain favourites at 9/2 to win the show together as they continue to go from strength-to-strength with no distractions – as do Dami (8/1 to be Top Male) and Amber (8/1 to be Top Female), who are 12/1 to be the winning couple. There’s plenty of juice in that latter price, we reckon.
Speaking of which, we’re going to stick our necks out and suggest one at a whopping price – 100/1 to be precise!

The self-proclaimed “Italian Stallion” is currently with Ekin-Su, but it’s fair to say they’re far from solid. The latter wasted no time in flirting with new boy Jacques last night, and has Davide ever really been into her? We’re not buying it, anyway.
Davide was getting to know Paige earlier in the show, before choosing to couple up with Gemma, and dare we say they actually seem somewhat compatible (who do we think we are)? IF they end up together, Paige is absolutely loved by the public and they’d surely be strong candidates to go all the way.
There’s a very long way to go, admittedly, but at those odds we reckon it’s worth a couple of quid.
Another fan-favourite is Indiyah (12/1 to be Top Female), who hasn’t had much luck so far in the villa and is starting to doubt her situation with Ikenna (16/1 to be Top Male). We’ve no idea when the first proper eviction will be, but those two are in big danger as it stands.
