There is plenty of racing action to get stuck into across the UK and Ireland on Friday 21st January, with meetings from Lingfield, Market Rasen, Southwell, Newcastle and Dundalk.
First up is Southwell’s eight-race card, which runs from 12:10 until 15:55, and Betfred are paying out extra places in the 13:10, 14:50 and 15:25, while the 13:40 is covered by the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion.
It’s off to Market Rasen next for a seven-race card, the action going from 12:30 until 15:45, and there are two Super Extra Place Races for punters to take advantage of – the 13:30 and the 14:05.
The latter of those, the Handicap Hurdle at 14:05, has attracted an 11-runner field and there could be some scope for backing the Adam West-trained Presuming Ed, who triumphed last time out and is 5/1 to repeat this feat.
Attention turns to Lingfield’s seven-race meeting next, the opener set for 12:50 and the finale at 16:08, and there are once again extra places on offer in the 13:50, 15:00 and 15:35.
The penultimate meet of the day comes the Irish venue Dundalk and there are eight fantastic races to get stuck into, beginning with the 15:40 and concluding with the 19:15.
Betfred are offering extra places in the first four events – the 15:40, 16:15, 16:45 and 17:15 – while this promotion also covers the 19:15, which Moshammer and Brushwork are both 4/1 to win.
Last, but by no means least, the action is brought to a close with Newcastle’s seven-race card (16:00-19:00). The 18:30 has the added bonus of an extra place being paid out.
