There are four race meetings scheduled to take place across the UK on Thursday, with jumps action at Bangor-on-Dee and Catterick preceding all-weather offerings from Newcastle and Chelmsford City.

Catterick will be our first port of call for what will be a seven-race card beginning at 12:40 and reaching a conclusion with a Handicap Hurdle at 15:40 that will be supplemented by Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion.

Heavy conditions are predicted for the card from Bangor-on-Dee, with the Welsh track set to showcase a six-race meeting between 13:30-16:00, with the opener benefiting from Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ offering, meaning punters will be paid out on the first three finishers.

The 16:00 Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle is also worth looking out for from Bangor-on-Dee, as Rock Of Fame (5/2) looks well placed to shake her maiden tag for trainer Venetia Williams after placing on her hurdling debut at Lingfield back in November.

The all-weather action will take centre stage as the afternoon develops, with Newcastle’s seven-race offering going from 13:50-16:50.

Today’s Horse Racing Odds

Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer will come into play for the 14:20 Handicap from the Gosforth Park track, while the ‘Extra Place’ promotion will be available for the 14:50 Handicap where hat-trick seeking Jomont (11/8) could make it a treble of wins over course and distance for trainer Michael Dods.

The final meeting of the day will see an evening start from Chelmsford City, with the action in Essex beginning at 16:30 before the seventh and final race goes off at 19:30.

Again Betfred will have plenty of promotional offers for you to enjoy on the card, with the races at 16:30, 18:30 and 19:00 all benefiting from the ‘Extra Place’ offering, while the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion will come into play for the Classified Stakes at 19:30.
