There are three meetings to look forward to on Sunday as the week’s racing is brought a close, with action from Ayr, Southwell and Fairyhouse.

We head to Nottinghamshire for the first meet of the day, a seven-race card from Southwell that runs from 12:40 until 15:40, and Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer is available to utilise in the 13:10 and 15:10.

There are extra places being paid out in the opener and the 13:40, while the finale, a Handicap over 1m 4f 14y, is the Super Extra Place Race, in which a field of 14 are scheduled to take part.

Batocchi, for trainer Rebecca Menzies, was victorious on previous run over course and distance in December and is 9/4 to follow that up with another victory, helped by Ian Williams’ Reset Button being declared a non-runner.

The second of the day comes from Ireland, a seven-race card from Fairyhouse that begins at 12:50 and concludes with the 15:50, and there are extra places up for grabs in the 13:50 and 14:20.

The latter of those two promotional races, the Grade A Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase, is set over 2m 1f and there could be a big battle between Black Bow and Dunvegan, who are priced at 7/2 and 9/2 respectively to come out on top.

John Patrick Ryan has last-time-out winner Grange Walk in the race and the seven-year-old is 13/2 to make it back-to-back wins, while Rachael Blackmore has been booked in to ride 12/1 chance Soviet Pimpernel and could be worthy of consideration.

Last, but by no means least, the final meeting is a six-race card from Ayr in Scotland, with the opener going off at 13:00 and the finale set for 15:30.
