David Ginola is now the odds-on favourite at Betfred to win this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The 54-year-old Frenchman has proved incredibly popular with the British public from the word go, and he’s now as short as 10/11 to be crowned King of the Castle as the eliminations continue to come thick and fast.

Just eight campmates remain in Gwrych Castle after Snoochie Shy became the third celebrity to be voted out last night. Before we know it there’ll only be a handful remaining and we’ll be enjoying the famous Celebrity Cyclone!

Or maybe not – with Storm Barra raging across the nation, there’s talk that it might have to be cancelled this year. Fingers crossed that isn’t the case, as it’s hands down one of the best things about this show.

Anyway, back to the betting. Frankie Bridge (4/1) is David’s closest challenger for the crown. She’s apparently being lined up for some big gigs on the outside, and might well be peaking at the right time in terms of her popularity on screen. Let’s see if she shortens in the next 24 hours or so.

Danny Miller (9/2) is another we can’t say is without a chance. He’s also been popular throughout, and his bromance with David stands him in good stead.

Further down the betting we have Simon Gregson (13/2), Naughty Boy (14/1), Louise Minchin (20/1) and Adam Woodyatt (50/1) – while Matty Lee is the rank outsider at 66/1.
