Another Saturday means it’s time for another treble!
Plenty of cracking Premier League action this weekend. Let’s see if we can bag our second treble of the season…
Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa
Our first pick comes from Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace host Aston Villa.
Palace are unbeaten in their last five, and of course, the Steven Gerrard era at Villa Park kicked-off with a win over Brighton last weekend.
This match does make me feel old seeing Patrick Viera and Stevie G in the respective dugouts…
Anyway, it’s a tough one to call this, and the only thing that’s swaying me is the price. This match could go either way, and Villa at 12/5 is decent value.
Villa win at 12/5.
Liverpool vs Southampton
Our second pick comes from Anfield where Liverpool will face Southampton.
The Reds were back to their best last week against Arsenal and it felt like they didn’t get out of second gear against Porto in midweek.
The Saints aren’t in bad form, however. They’ve won three of their last five, and certainly have players to hurt Jurgen Klopp’s side. However, playing Liverpool at Anfield is massive test and a defeat is almost a foregone conclusion before a ball has been kicked.
We can’t see anything other than a Liverpool win, at 3/10.
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Leeds United
Our final pick comes from the late kick-off on Saturday as Brighton take on Leeds at the Amex Stadium.
Both sides are in patchy form – Brighton started the season so well but haven’t won any of their last five games, and Leeds have only won once in their last five, and find themselves two points above the relegation zone.
You never know which Leeds are going to show up on matchday. One minute, they’re hot. The next, they’re not.
We’re leaning more towards a Brighton win, as this is a chance for them to get back to winning ways against a very inconsistent Leeds side.
Brighton win at 11/10.

Liverpool to beat Southampton
