There are only four cards on the agenda in the USA and Canada on Monday afternoon, with meetings planned at Fort Erie, Finger Lakes, Zia Park and Mountaineer.

Monday’s US racing actually starts in Canada, with eight races planned at Fort Erie in Ontario.

The opening race is a claiming contest over six furlongs, and Elliot Sullivan’s Show Some Skin (2/1) is one to consider after her recent victory at the track.

Monday’s final race at Fort Erie starts at 21:16, with 11 runners set to contest a claiming event over seven furlongs.

Punters can also look forward to a nine-race card from Finger Lakes in New York. Another claiming battle opens the card at 18:10, while a maiden claiming race brings the meeting to a close at 22:02.

Trainer Donna Bireta sends the aptly named Stormy New York (SP) to the Farmington race track. The four-year-old has been knocking on the door of late and should have enough quality in the tank to land the spoils.

The first of 11 races at Zia Park starts at 19:00, with a claiming race set to open and finish the card in New Mexico.

Monday’s final contest at Zia Park starts at 23:30, with Storm Blues (SP) one to add to the shortlist after a narrow defeat last time out. Luis Rojero’s runner is stepped up in trip this afternoon and could do the business.

Last but not least, Mountaineer hosts eight races from 00:00, with punters able to watch all the action until 02:55 from the circuit in West Virginia.
