There is plenty of midweek racing to enjoy across the UK and Ireland on Wednesday, including a Listed race from Bath and the start of the jumps season at Wetherby.
In total there are five meetings to look forward to, beginning with an eight-race card on the Flat at Nottingham between 13:00-16:55, with Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion coming into play for the finale at the Nottinghamshire track, while the 14:40 Nursery will benefit from their ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer.
Ireland’s sole offering of the day is Punchestown’s seven-race jumps card from 13:15-16:40, which includes two Grade Three races at 15:30 and 16:05, while the 14:55 Handicap Hurdle will be another where Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion will be available.
Back on British soil, and Wetherby’s first jumps card of the season takes place between 13:38-17:05, with a total of seven races being highlighted by Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer for the Handicap Hurdle at 15:58.
The 14:48 Novices’ Hurdle could also be one to look out for from Wetherby, as there are three viable contenders for that race, with Glencassley (2/1 to win race), Siruh Du Lac (7/4) and Cardano (5/2) all appearing to be in the mix.
Bath’s eight-race card from 13:55-17:55 is highlighted by the 16:15 Listed Beckford Stakes which is open to fillies and mares aged three years or older, with Roseabad (11/1 to win race) looking a potential contender for trainer Mark Johnston.
The Beckford Stakes is also one of three races from Bath that will benefit from Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion alongside the meeting’s opener at 13:55 and the Handicap at 14:30, while the Fillies’ Handicap at 17:55 will see the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer come into play.
Wednesday’s sole evening offering comes on the all-weather at Kempton, with the eight-race meeting due to take place between 17:00-20:30, with the final four races on the card all benefiting from Betfred offers.
