A total of six race meetings take place across the UK and Ireland on Friday, highlighted by the start of the Future Champions Festival at Newmarket.

The Rowley Mile showcases two high-quality days of racing, beginning with Friday’s seven-race card from 13:15-16:40, with the highlight on the opening day set to be the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile at 15:35, where Inspiral (8/11 – to win race) will be putting her unbeaten record on the line.

Betfred will also be providing plenty of promotional offers for the opening day from Newmarket, with their ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer coming into play for the 13:15 Fillies’ Stakes, while the races at 13:50, 16:10 and 16:40 will all benefit from their ‘Extra Place’ promotion.

Away from Newmarket and Friday’s action opens with Chepstow’s seven-race card from 13:00-16:25, which includes the Group Two Persian War Novices’ Hurdle at 14:45, where Paso Doble (3/1), Luttrell Lad (7/2) and First Street (5/1) are all expected to come into contention.

The 15:20 Limited Handicap from Chepstow is also worth looking out for, as Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion will be available for that one.

The first of Friday’s Irish cards comes from Downpatrick, where seven races take place between 13:45-17:05, with the finale benefiting from Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer, while the ‘Extra Place’ promotion will come into play for the Handicap Hurdle at 16:02.

York’s seven-race offering rounds off the afternoon action from 14:05-17:25 and Betfred will be providing plenty of promotional offers on the Knavesmire.

Back in Ireland, Dundalk gets Friday’s evening racing under way with an eight-race meeting from 16:45-20:15, with the last three races there also seeing Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ offer come into play, while the 18:45 Handicap will benefit from the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion.

Newcastle’s eight-race card is the final meeting to begin, with the action in the North East taking place from 16:50-20:30, with Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ offer available for the races at 16:50, 17:55 and 20:30, while the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion will come into play for the 19:30 Handicap.
