A total of four race meetings help see in the new week across the UK on Monday, with Thirsk, Worcester, Brighton and Kempton all hosting cards.
Thirsk is our first port of call, with the North Yorkshire track set to showcase eight races from 13:00-16:50, with the 13:30 Nursery and the Handicap at 14:00 both set to benefit from Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion.
There is also an afternoon card taking place at Worcester, with the seven races there set to go between 13:15-16:35.
Worcester’s feature race is the Class Two Cazoo Handicap Chase at 14:50, where Bathiva (2/1 – to win race) looks set to be a leading contender for trainer Fergal O’Brien, with the seven-year-old having won two from two so far this season, including over this very C&D last month.
The final afternoon card to get under way is on the South Coast at Brighton, where seven races take place between 14:10-17:30.
The finale from Brighton, the 17:30 Handicap, will be another to benefit from Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ offer, with Sir Rodneyredblood (7/2 – to win race) perhaps looking the pick of the runners following his recent victory at Lingfield, although most of his best form has tended to be on the all-weather.
Kempton’s evening card then rounds off Monday’s action between 16:45-20:15, with Betfred’s ‘Neck Or Less’ promotion coming into play for all eight races from the Surrey track.
