The Del Mar Oaks is a Grade 1 turf contest, with nine runners set to go to post for 1m 1f race at 02:03.

The Philip Amato-trained three-year-old Going Global is expected to go off the favourite, but Madone is worth a look after a win at this track last month.

We stay in California for meeting number six, with Ferndale holding a seven-race card – beginning with a 5f sprint at 22:15 and concluding at 01:19.

The nine-race card at Evangeline Downs begins at 23:50, with their standout race due off at 02:59 with seven runners set to go in a 1m Allowance Optional Claiming race.

Louisiana Hero is seeking a third consecutive win at the track but takes the step up from 6f this time around.

The US racing action concludes in the early hours with two other meetings, with Charles Town hosting an eight-race card from 00:00 to 03:32 and nine races at Prairie Meadows between 00:00 and 03:26.
