There’s afternoon racing at Kempton, Ripon and Newcastle on Monday, before later cards at Carlisle and Windsor, while the Irish action comes from Cork and Naas.
The first racing of the day in the UK and Ireland comes from Kempton at 13:00, where there are seven races in total, finishing with the 16:20.
In the second race at Kempton at 13:30, Spirit Of The Bay (10/3) is an interesting prospect after being placed on her sole run here last September.
She ran into trouble last time out when finishing eighth when expected to run well at Nottingham and, off the same mark today, if she gets a clear run, she should be a contender.
Ripon has seven races this afternoon, between 13:57 and 17:20, and in the 16:12 Briardale (9/4) is fancied to do well after his recent C&D victory here, which came after previous wins at Redcar and Newcastle earlier this season.
The all-weather meeting at Newcastle starts with the 14:18 and there are eight races from the north east today, culminating with the 18:07.
The evening action in the UK today comes from Carlisle (16:50-20:30) and Windsor (17:45-20:15) and Betfred are running their ‘Free Bet If 2nd to SP Fav’ in all six contests from Windsor.
In the finale at 20:15, French dual winner in 2019, Sagauteur (5/1), has now failed to win in 11 outings, but was a solid fifth among 15 in a handicap at Newbury last month to suggest a return to the winner’s enclosure may well be on the cards.
The Irish meetings today from Cork and Naas both have eight races apiece, with Naas getting under way at 13:15 and finishing with the 17:15, while Cork starts at 13:40 and the final race is due off at 17:30.
