There are three race meetings taking place across the UK on Sunday, with the action coming from Uttoxeter, Pontefract and Musselburgh.

Uttoxeter’s eight-race card gets proceedings under way, the opener going off at 13:10 and the finale set for 17:00, and Betfred are paying out an extra place in the final two events.

The Jonjo O’Neill-trained Demon D’Aunou arrives off the back of a victory and is expected to challenge again at odds of 7/4, while Jimmy The Digger (9/4) and Don’t Ask (4/1) are also last-time-out winners and will be hoping to triumph again.

Attention then turns to a seven-race affair at Pontefract, running from 13:55 until 17:10, and the Ties For Every Occasion Handicap at 15:00 benefits from an extra place being paid out.

Set over 6f, Archie Watson’s Corinthia Knight, who has Hollie Doyle in the saddle, is 7/4 to win the 15:00 after picking up a win on previous run, although stiff competition is expected from Mark Walford’s 10/3 Zumurud.

Last, but by no means least, Sunday’s action is brought to a close with another seven-race offering from Musselburgh, which starts at 15:55 and finishes at 18:40.

Betfred are paying out an extra place in the 17:15 and this looks to be an intriguing race, with Gunnerside heading the betting at 6/1 ahead of 15/2 Good Luck Fox and 9/1 Glory Fighter.

The Bell Conductor, Global Humor and Modular Magic are also priced at 9/1, while Never Dark and Primo’s Comet are both available at 10/1 in what looks a highly-competitive affair.
