There’s another feast of midweek US racing action coming up with nine meetings taking place later, including at Saratoga and Belterra Park.
The first action on Wednesday is at Belterra Park, where there are eight races between 17:35 and 21:05.
Thistledown’s eight-race card is next up, with the event at the Ohio track starting at 17:50 and culminating with the 21:20.
Saratoga has a bumper 10-race card to keep punters entertained, running between 18:05 and 23:13. Betfred has two promotional races from the famous venue, at 20:55 and 21:29, when you can take advantage of the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion – back a horse in this race, and should it finish 2nd Betfred will refund your stake as a free bet up to £10.
In the 20:55, Landslid (SP) is one of the stand-out runners in this 14-strong Maiden Special Weight after two recent good runs at Belmont Park. Landslid was second there in April and soon followed up with a third-place finish in May to underline his claims today.
Then in the 21:29, Hilliard (SP) is expected to contend after a win at Belmont Park at the start of the month, while Bricco (SP) may also be in the mix after he impressed last time out when coming home first at Aqueduct in a field of 10.
Finger Lakes has eight races this evening, with the action taking place between 18:10 and 21:33, before the Delaware Park meet starts at 18:15. There are eight races as well from the Wilmington track, finishing up after the 21:45.
Betfred’s ‘Free Bet If 2nd’ promo also features in the 20:15 at Delaware when American Ninja (SP) is set to be the one to watch. He was returned with a victory at this track last time out and would expect to follow up again when easing in grade. Quality Step (SP) could be the biggest danger following a short break.
It’s then swiftly on with the meeting from Colonial Downs, which has nine races later, starting at 18:45 and finishing with the 22:29.
Into the night, the racing stateside continues with meetings from Penn National (23:00-02:10, eight races), Evangeline Downs (23:50-02:59, eight races) and, finally, Mountaineer, where their meeting starts at midnight and concludes after eight races at 02:55.
