England are 13/2 with Betfred to win the Euros now we know the last 16

Phew – what drama on Wednesday, with both the Germany-Hungary and France-Portugal matches ending two-each, setting up the Three Lions match against Germany at Wembley on Tuesday.

Remarkably, we had one lucky punter who had a 2-2 correct-score double on those Group F games – and she picked up £520 for her £1 bet. Superbly played!

So – all the big hitters are through … just about! France remain favourites with us to win the tournament outright at 4/1, with Italy in from 11/1 to 6/1, while Germany are 7/1.

Along with Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands have one hundred per cent records, and they are 8/1 and 9/1 respectively to win the competition at Wembley, in front of 60,000 fans, on July 11.

England are slight 4/5 favourites at Betfred to qualify against Germany (win through no matter how it’s achieved) on Tuesday in what is arguably the most hotly-contested of rivalries. And if you think it will be penalties again, we are 10/1 that Gareth Southgate’s boys win in a shoot-out.

90 minute betting – ENG 8/5, Draw 9/4, GER 19/10.

Frankly, it’s about time we actually won an international tournament having not done so since 1966 … and I’ve said it before that this IS our year.

Harry Kane is 7/2 to score first on Tuesday (above), with Raheem Sterling 6/1 – and Phil Foden 8/1. Kane, who was favourite pre-tournament to be the Euro 2020 top scorer, has drifted to 40/1 with us, while the odds-on favourite is Cristiano Ronaldo; with another ex-Red (below, centre), Romelu Lukaku, available at 6/1.

Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku

Just think for a moment what it would be like to have both of them still at Old Trafford!

Finally, to Wales – and Saturday’s last 16 clash v everyone’s second favourite team Denmark, in Amsterdam.

Wales, who could face England in the semis, are a tempting 7/4 to qualify with Betfred – that means getting through this tie whether it’s in normal time, or after any extra time or penalty heroics. Wales in 90 minutes – a juicy 4/1.

Whenever you bet, Betfred
