Thomas Tuchel says he’s yet to get over Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday, although the German coach hopes to use his anger to spark his side into life for Saturday’s FA Cup final against Leicester (Match Betting – Chelsea 19/20, Draw 5/2, Leicester 16/5).

The Blues lost 1-0 at home to the Gunners in the Premier League, just the third defeat since Tuchel took charge in January, and Chelsea are still in a battle to finish in the top four.

Liverpool, sitting in fifth, know they will finish in the Champions League places if they win their remaining three matches, due to the fact Leicester and Chelsea go head-to-head in the league just three days after Saturday’s meeting at Wembley.

Of course, Tuchel’s men have the opportunity to qualify for next season’s Champions League if they beat Manchester City in this year’s final, which will take place in Portugal on May 29 (Man City 21/20, Draw 23/10, Chelsea 3/1 – Match Betting).

Chelsea’s sole focus this weekend is on the FA Cup final (17:15 KO), however, and Tuchel, who admits he is still thinking about that Arsenal loss, is hoping to see a big response from his players against the Foxes.

“I’m not yet in the mood to enjoy it,” he said at his press conference. “I still have hangover from the last defeat [against Arsenal] and I’m more in angry mode because of the opportunity we missed.

“I will hopefully transform it into a good preparation and make the team be sharp and play on the edge, we want to show a reaction. It’s a big match at Wembley and my first final here in England.

“It’s huge but I will not get carried away with emotions. It is easy preparation because we all feel the missed opportunity against Arsenal.”

Tuchel has confirmed Kepa Arrizabalaga will retain his place in goal despite being the club’s second-choice keeper, while midfielder Matteo Kovacic, who was sent off in last year’s FA Cup final and is 11/4 to be carded first on Saturday, will also be available after returning from injury.
