There are six meetings scheduled to take place in the UK and Ireland on Friday, with action coming from Goodwood, Chepstow, Musselburgh, Punchestown, Cheltenham and Newcastle.

The opening card comes from Goodwood when seven races are set to play out between 13:00 and 16:25, while punters can make use of an extra place in the opener and closer.

Peerless (3/1 Gusbourne Handicap) sealed victory when making his seasonal bow at Nottingham earlier this month and looks capable of making it back-to-back wins in the 15:20.

Next up is Chepstow with a further eight races lined up from 13:15 through to 17:05 before we head to Musselburgh for seven races between 14:00 and 17:10.

There’s an extra place available in the 15:35 when Mid Winster (11/4 fav William Hill Play Responsibly Handicap) looks a serious contender after connections opted for a shorter trip.

Punchestown’s eight-race card gets going at 15:40 and comes to an end at 19:35 with an extra place up for grabs in the 16:15, 18:35 and 19:05.

The penultimate meeting comes from Cheltenham when the first of seven races goes off at 17:00.

Cheltenham’s card, which offers up an extra place in the 19:45, comes to a close at 20:15.

Newcastle brings an end to Friday’s action with a further seven races from 17:15 through to 20:25 and punters can are being offered an extra place in the opener.
