There are five meetings scheduled to take place in the UK and Ireland on Friday, with action coming from Leicester, Aintree, Sedgefield, Wexford and Kempton.

Leicester gets the ball rolling with a seven-race card between 13:00 and 16:30, while punters can make use of an extra place in the 14:40.

Dirty Rascal (11/8 fav – Watch On Racing TV Handicap) has made a fine start to the season, picking up a win at Wolverhampton on Monday after finishing second at Doncaster last month.

The five-year-old offers plenty of interest in the 14:40, but course and distance winner Al Suil Eile, who can be backed at 11/1, can’t be overlooked.

It’s set to be a busy weekend at Aintree’s Grand National Festival and there are seven races on Friday’s card between 13:45 and 17:15.

Betfred is offering an extra place in the opener, 16:05, 16:40 and the closer.

Fakir D’Oudairies (5/2 fav – Marsh Chase) has finished in the top two over this distance on his last nine outings and that consistency looks set to continue in the 15:25.

Sedgefield puts on a further seven races between 14:00 and 17:30.

Ireland’s sole card of the day comes from Wexford when the seven-race card plays out between 16:15 and 19:25.

The final meeting takes place at Kempton when there are eight races scheduled between 16:35 and 20:10, while punters can make use of an extra place in the 18:10.

My Frankel (9/4 – Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap) picked up back-to-back wins before a disappointing run at Ascot and looks set to be firmly in the mix in the 19:40.
