It’s day two of the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday, with the feature race being the Queen Mother Champion Chase, while there is also action to get stuck into from Huntingdon, Kempton, Lingfield and Down Royal.
The first meet of the day is an eight-race card from Huntingdon, running from 12:35 until 16:05, and Betfred are offering an extra place in the 13:45, which Maliboo (11/4), Doyen Queen (10/3) and Lexi’s Choice (10/3) will battle it out for glory.
We head over to Irish shores next for the meeting at Down Royal, a seven-race event that gets under way at 13:00 and finishes with the 16:30 – a Mares Flat Race over 2m 140y.
Next up the action heads to Prestbury Park for the second day of the prestigious Cheltenham Festival, with the first of seven races going off at 13:20, before the finale at 16:50.
Betfred have promotions available in all but two of the races and the opener, the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle over 2m 5f, benefits from the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer.
Henry de Bromhead’s Bob Olinger, who will have Festival hero Rachael Blackmore on board, is the 7/4 favourite to land the opener, ahead of 15/8 Gaillard Du Mesnil for Willie Mullins and 4/1 chance Bravemansgame for Paul Nicholls.
Cheltenham’s feature race on day two is the Queen Mother Champion Chase, which goes off at 15:05, and it looks like the Mullins-trained Chacun Pour Soi is the one to beat at 4/5.
The penultimate meeting of the day comes from Lingfield, a seven-race card from 13:30 until 17:00, before the day’s action is brought to a conclusion with a bumper nine-race affair at Kempton (16:05-20:20).
