There is a bumper day of US racing to look forward to on Friday, with meetings taking place at Tampa Bay Downs, Laurel Park, Gulfstream, Aqueduct, Turf Paradise, Santa Anita, Golden Gate Fields, Penn National, Charles Town and Sam Houston Race Park.
The day will begin with a 10-race card from Tampa Bay Downs, with the 17:15 Maiden Claiming getting things underway at the Florida track before a similar race rounds things off at the venue at 21:50.
Our attention will then turn up the east coast for nine races from Laurel Park that go from 17:25 to 21:25, while there will be 10 races from Gulfstream between 17:35 and 22:13.
The finale from Gulfstream is one race to particularly look out for, as Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion will be on offer for that Maiden Claiming, a race that could be won by Seamialaugh (9/2) following some recent near misses.
In New York, there’s eight races from Aqueduct beginning at 17:50 and concluding at 21:20, while in Arizona there will be a nine-race card from Turf Paradise between 19:30 and 23:14.
Santa Anita will then play host to eight races from 20:30 to 00:04, with the finale from the California track also benefiting from Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion and One Flew South could be a leading contender in that one, as he will benefit from a drop in both class and trip.
In California, Golden Gate Fields hosts eight races from 20:45 to 00:19, before there’s a busy looking 11-race card at Penn National, beginning at 23:00 and concluding 03:20.
The penultimate card of the day will come from Charles Town, with the West Virginia track hosting races from midnight through until 03:32, while the final meeting of the night will be a 10-race card from Sam Houston Race Park that goes from 00:45 to 04:48.
