Storm Bella has led officials at Leicester and Fontwell to abandon planned meetings due to waterlogged tracks, but there are still four cards set to take place in the UK and Ireland on Monday.
Catterick plays host to seven races between 11:50 and 15:07, with Betfred offering an extra place in the 14:32.
Gold Miner (6/5 fav – Sky Bet Extra Places Every Day Hurdle) almost made a winning return to action at Leicester last month and should be in the mix again in the 12:20 contest.
Meanwhile, Tortuga Bay (5/2 – Sky Bet Enter ITV7 Tonight Novices’ Handicap Chase) earned a victory at Newcastle earlier this month, and will once again be partnered by champion jockey Brian Hughes in the 12:55.
Ireland’s first of two cards comes from Limerick with the action running between 11:55 and 15:55 and Betfred’s extra place promotion is available in the 13:35, 14:10 and 14:45.
Leopardstown plays host to Ireland’s second and final meeting of the day, with the opener going off at 12:05 and the closer running at 15:35.
Betfred is offering an extra place in the 12:40, 13:50 and 14:25.
The Savills Chase is the standout race at Leopardstown, with the Henry De Bromhead-trained Minella Indo set to go off as the 5/2 fav.
Fakir D’Oudairies (16/1 – Savills Chase) has been a hugely consistent perform of late, coming home second in each of his last three outings, while he earned back-to-back wins prior to that sequence and deserves consideration in this Grade 1 event.
Newcastle closes out Monday’s action with a nine-race card, which goes between 14:20 and 18:35, with an extra place up for grabs in the 17:05 and 18:05.
