There are five meetings due to take place on UK and Irish soil on Thursday, with action coming from Southwell, Thurles, Lingfield, Taunton and Chelmsford.
Thursday’s racing begins at Southwell with eight races scheduled between 11:50 and 15:20, while Betfred is offering an extra place in the 13:50 and 14:20.
Liamba (9/2 Bombardier Handicap) has performed admirably over 6f at Southwell in the past, winning three and coming home second on a further three occasions, so it will be interesting to see how he performs with this step up in trip.
Ireland’s only card of the day comes from Thurles, running between 12:25 and 15:24, with seven races set to play out.
Betfred’s extra place offer is available in the 12:55 and 14:55.
Capilano Bridge (5/4 Holycross Maiden Hurdle) looks to be the horse with the best form ahead of the 14:25 contest at Thurles and should have a fair crack at challenging 10/11 fav Rambranlt’jac on soft ground.
Lingfield is next up with seven races set to play out from 12:33 through to 15:33, before we head off to Taunton for a seven-race card.
The meeting at the Somerset venue runs from 12:41 through to 15:41, with Betfred offering an extra place in the 14:41.
Dave And Bernie (13/2 Stables Business Park Handicap Hurdle) was a winner at Ludlow last time out and steps up in grade for the 14:41 contest.
Chelmsford closes out Thursday’s action with a further seven races, getting underway at 16:00 and concluding at 19:00, with Betfred’s extra place promotion up for grabs in the 17:00.
