The US horse racing on Friday features meets from Keeneland, Belmont Park and Gulfstream Park, amongst others, on a typical busy evening.
Belmont’s 10-race card will be the focus of attention for plenty of punters where the contests begin with the 17:20 and run until 22:20.
The opener is a mile fillies maiden and features the Curlin filly Millefeuille (11/10). The Bill Mott-trainee made a good start to her racing career when finishing runner-up in a maiden special weight over this course and distance towards the end of last month and, with Joel Rosario on board, Millefeuille appears to be the one to beat in the five-strong field.
Betfred’s ‘Free Bet If Second’ promotion is on offer in the 21:14 at Belmont.
The action at Gulfstream gets us underway slightly earlier, at 17:00, and there are nine races in total from the Florida track, culminating with the 21:32.
On a hectic night, there’s another seven meets across the US, with Laurel Park (17:25-21:50) staging nine races, while Keeneland’s event starts at 18:05 and ends after 10 races with the 23:03.
Over the dirt, there’s a nine-race meet at Golden Gate Fields (21:15-01:29), while later on there’s a bumper 11 races’ worth of action from Penn National (23:00-03:20).
Charles Town hosts nine contests, starting at 00:00 and running until 04:02.
The final meeting to get underway starts in the early hours of Saturday morning with Remington Park’s nine-race fare beginning at 01:07 and not wrapping up until 04:51.
