The Los Angeles Lakers moved within one win of their 17th championship with a 102-96 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the NBA Finals

LeBron James (above) scored 28 points and had 12 rebounds to lead the Lakers to within one game of glory.

Anthony Davis had 20 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 15 – including two crucial fourth-quarter baskets – to help Los Angeles bounce back from defeat in Game 3.

Jimmy Butler (below, left) led the Heat with 22 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Tyler Herro added 21 points and Duncan Robinson had 17. A big plus for Miami was the return of Bam Adebayo, who missed two games with a neck/shoulder injury. However, Goran Dragic remained sidelined.

Los Angeles now have a 3-1 series lead and will hope to close the series out in Game 5 on Friday night. A victory would see them win their 17th title – tying the Boston Celtics’ record for the most ever.

It would also see LeBron James win his fourth ring, meaning he would become the third player – after role players Robert Horry and John Salley – in league history to win championships with three different teams.
