The action gets underway first at Gulfstream at 17:00, with the going at the Florida track classed as Fast for their 11-race dirt-and-turf meeting.
The first stakes race of the evening takes place at 18:14, with Golden VC out to continue his recent impressive form – which includes a victory at Evangeline Downs in July.
Baltimore is the next stop for the meeting at Pimlico, which hosts a 10-race card – starting with a claiming contest at 17:40 and concluding at 22:37 with an Allowance race.
There are also 10 races at Belmont Park, with the opener in New York at 18:00 and the lucky last is due to go at 22:46.
In the third race (19:04), Betfred are paying three places (1/5 Odds) in the Maiden Special Weight.
The Todd Pletcher-charge Jouster is likely to go off the favourite, currently 5/2, after a decent second-placed finished at Saratoga in late August.
The outstanding meeting of the night takes place at Santa Anita, with no less than three Grade 1 contests on their 11-race card.
At 23:41, seven runners are set to go to post for the Rodeo Drive Stakes – a Fillies Grade 1 – with $189,000 set to go to the winner. Maxim Rate could be one to watch out for at 5/1 as she is seeking a double following a victory at Del Mar last month.
Elsewhere, Golden Gate Fields hosts a 10-race turf-and-dirt meeting – starting at 21:15. Charles Town, in West Virginia, starts at 00:00 with race eight due off at 03:32, while Prairie Meadows and Remington Park also host 12 and nine-race cards respectively.
The going at Canada’s Woodbine track is Fast for their 10-race card, with the standout race being the 19:16 – Ontario Fashion Stakes, Grade 3 Fillies.
The Ricky Griffith-trained Sav could be the one to beat, after recording three wins in her last six appearances at Woodbine.
