Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick insists they will stay true to their philosophy when they take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on Sunday (Match Betting – Paris Saint-Germain 23/10, draw 16/5, Bayern Munich 21/20).

Flick took charge of Bayern (8/15 Champions League Outright) as interim manager in November 2019 after Niko Kovac’s departure and he was handed the role on a permanent basis in December.

The 55-year-old, who played for the Bavarian giants between 1985 and 1990, was tasked with salvaging the club’s season and he has exceeded expectations.

Adopting a swashbuckling style of play, Bayern have thrived with the German at the helm and they head into Sunday’s showpiece looking to secure a European-domestic treble for just the second time in their history.

He has already led them to the Bundesliga crown and DFB Pokal title and many fancy Bayern to see off PSG (6/4 Champions League Outright) after an 8-2 demolition of Barcelona in the quarter-finals.

PSG are expected to pose a greater threat than Barca with the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe (4/1 First Goalscorer) set to provide a serious test to Bayern’s high-line.

However, Flick insists he won’t switch up his tactics to account for the PSG stars and has stressed the importance of imposing their style on the French champions in Lisbon.

Flick said: “In our games over the last 10 months we’ve always tried to impose our style on the opposition and always played with a high line.

“Ultimately we’ve got results doing that, so we won’t change too much on that score.

“We have made a huge step forward in terms of our development and the team is ready to give it all and try and win.”

Central defender Jerome Boateng has been rated as a doubt for the clash at the Estadio da Luz after coming off in the semi-final win over Lyon with a muscular problem.

France international Benjamin Pavard (2/1 1+ Shots on Target) is, however, pushing for a starting berth after returning to competitive action from the bench in the 3-0 victory over Lyon.
