The 2020 Betfred Super League season resumes on Sunday at Emerald Headingley

It’s been exactly 20 weeks since the last fixture, between Castleford Tigers and St Helens, on Sunday March 15

The Betfred Super League table has been amended, following the withdrawal of Toronto Wolfpack. The RFL Board have approved the recent recommendation of the Super League Europe board, that for the purposes of the table, competition points earned in the Wolfpack’s fixtures, and points scored for and against, should be expunged.

However, Rugby League statisticians – Danny Spencer, and the recently-revived Rugby League Record Keepers’ Club – have agreed that appearances made and points scored by individual players in those fixtures will remain on players’ records, as has happened in equivalent examples in previous years.

The same will apply for all appearances made, and points scored, in the Betfred Championship and League 1 fixtures played earlier this year, following the recent RFL Board decision that the season will not resume.

Also – for all the matches played in the first five rounds of the Coral Challenge Cup, including Toronto’s victory over Huddersfield Giants.
