There is another busy day of US racing action on Saturday with meetings from Gulfstream, Laurel Park, Saratoga, Louisiana Downs, Del Mar, Evangeline Downs, Charles Town and Prairie Meadows, while there is also a 10-race card on offer at Woodbine in Canada.
We begin the day over in Florida with Gulfstream offering up a bumper 11 races, starting at 17:00 and ending with the 22:21, and Betfred have their ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion running in the 20:06.
Girolamo’s Attack, who will have jockey Cristian Torres aboard, is the 9/4 favourite with Betfred to win that 6f Maiden Claiming race, while Curtin’s Up and Apache are priced at 7/2 and 4/1 respectively to claim the spoils.
The action then heads over to Maryland for nine races at Laurel Park, which runs from 17:40 until 21:40, before the focus switches to Woodbine’s 10-race card over in Canada.
Betfred are once again offering their ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion in the 20:14 at the Ontario track, where the Ashlee Brnjas-trained Matthaus (SP) is expected to put in a strong challenge for glory.
We head back to the US for the next meet as the action comes to New York’s Saratoga track for potentially the meeting of the day. The first of 11 races going off at 18:10 before the finale at 23:49 – a 1m 110y Maiden Claiming.
Betfred are paying out an extra place in the 19:51, which Lady C is the 15/8 favourite to win, while the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion is also being offered in the 20:57.
There are seven races taking place at Louisiana Downs, running from 21:05 until 23:49, while there is a bumper 11 race-card at Del Mar, starting with the 22:00 and ending with the 03:00.
Next up is the nine-race card at Evangeline Downs, which runs from 23:50 until 03:26, before the action then heads to Charles Town for eight races, beginning at 00:00 and finishing at 03:32.
Last, but by no means least, the US action concludes at Prairie Meadows, with the first of 12 races going off at 00:00 before the finale at 04:40.
