Bournemouth (1/2 To Be Relegated) boss Eddie Howe has full confidence in his side’s ability to win their fight against relegation in the remaining weeks of the Premier League season.
Bournemouth’s five-year stay in the English top flight is in serious danger of ending when the 2019-20 campaign concludes next month.
The Cherries have been lauded for their ability to steer clear of the bottom three over recent seasons, but their Premier League journey could be brought to an abrupt end this summer.
They have suffered back-to-back defeats, failing to score in each of those games, since the restart and are without a win in six league outings.
Relegation is certainly not guaranteed just yet with only goal difference keeping them inside the bottom three as they prepare for the final seven games of the season.
Howe is refusing to allow Bournemouth’s current run to impact his positivity and has vowed to keep his squad motivated for the crucial run-in.
“There’s no part of me that’s feeling sorry for myself or despondent,” said Howe.
“It’s a motivated, fully energised, fully focused manager that the players are getting to get results and to achieve our objectives.
“I believe we can win every game we’ve got between now and the end of the season. No game is a write-off.
“We need to start winning and performing very quickly.”
Bournemouth welcome Newcastle to the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday (Match Betting – Bournemouth 7/5, draw 11/5, Newcastle 9/4) before embarking on an extremely tricky run of games against Manchester United, Tottenham, Leicester and Manchester City.
