Quique Setien (pictured) faces a must-win game for Barcelona to keep their title hopes alive.
The footballing action continues across Spain and Italy on Tuesday evening with matches that could have a huge bearing on both the Serie A and La Liga title battles.
In Spain, the action kicks off at 18:30 with relegation-threatened Mallorca playing host to Celta Vigo, who are on a four-game unbeaten run and managed to draw 2-2 with Barcelona last time out.
At 20:00, 19th-placed Leganes, who are nine points from safety and look destined to drop down to the Segunda Division, go up against Sevilla, who hold the final Champions League position in fourth.
However, the main event is at 21:00 as Barcelona take on Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou in a clash that could very well define where the title will end up this season (Barcelona 4/5, Draw 13/5, Atletico 7/2 – Match Betting).
The Catalans are second in the standings, two points behind Real Madrid, and defeat to Atleti, who are 11 points behind Barca in third, would serve as another blow to the club’s title aspirations.
Quique Setien’s men haven’t been at their best, drawing two of their last three matches, and they will need an improvement to overcome Diego Simeone’s men.
Over in Italy, there are two games taking place with the first getting underway at 18:30 when Torino welcome title-chasing Lazio to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino (Torino 7/2, Draw 13/5, Lazio 8/11 – Match Betting).
The visitors occupy second position in Serie A, four points behind defending champions Juventus, and the Biancocelesti will be hoping they can put some pressure on the Old Lady, who play in the second game of the night.
Juve travel to Genoa, who are only one point above the relegation zone, for the 20:45 game and the visitors know any slip-ups could cost them in the title race (Genoa 8/1, Draw 7/2, Juventus 1/3 – Match Betting).
